Who we are

Local Texas Directory is operated by Security Tech Labs LLC in Tyler, Texas (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@localtexasdirectory.com or (214) 326-0012.

What you are buying

A Plus or Premium page is a paid upgrade of your business’s page in the directory. The features of each plan are the ones shown for that plan on the List Your Business page when you buy. Being listed, claiming your page and being Featured never depend on buying a plan.

Setup and updates

The price includes a one-time setup of your page from the logo and details you send us, plus up to four update requests per year. One request can include several small changes, such as new hours, a new photo and a new service. We make updates within a reasonable time, usually within 5 business days. Anything beyond that, such as building a website, managing ads or writing long content, is not included and is quoted separately by Security Tech Labs.

Confirming that the business is yours

Before you pay, we confirm that you own the business or are authorized to act for it. We usually check your details against the business’s own website and may call or email you. We may decline a request, or remove a page, if we cannot confirm this or if the information is inaccurate or misleading. If we decline a request after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Price, billing and payment

Plus is $99 and Premium is $249, billed in US dollars once a year. Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure payment page. We never see or store your card number, and Stripe’s terms apply to the payment. If sales tax applies, it will be added and shown before you pay. A promotion code applies as described when you use it. A first-year discount applies once, and your renewal is at the regular price.

Renewal and canceling

Your plan renews automatically each year at the price then shown on our site, until you cancel. We will tell you by email before a price change takes effect on your renewal, and we will send a reminder before each renewal. You can cancel at any time before your renewal date by emailing or calling us. After you cancel you will not be charged again, your paid features stay until the end of the year you paid for, and then your page returns to the free version.

Refunds

If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full and your page returns to the free version. Renewal payments are not refundable, but you can cancel before the renewal date as described above. If we charge you after you have canceled, or we charge you by mistake, we refund that charge. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually reach you within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

What you give us

You give us permission to publish the logo, text, links and other details you send, on your business page and elsewhere in the directory, and to edit them for clarity. You confirm that you have the right to give us this material and that it is accurate. You can ask us to change or remove it at any time.

What we do not promise

We do not promise rankings, website visits, customers, or mentions by search engines or AI assistants. Google ratings and reviews shown on a page come from Google, not from us. The analytics report counts clicks on the buttons of your page and does not count page views. We work to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for a paid page is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose, and we are not responsible for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits a right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Ending service

We may suspend or remove a page for misuse, for illegal or misleading content, or for not following these terms. If we end a paid page for any reason other than your breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the year.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. A change that affects a paid plan takes effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you by email before it does.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts that serve Smith County, Texas.
